5. Beto – Everton | 50 points | £4.9m

The appointment of David Moyes has breathed new life into Everton once again. More than anything it has been the impact he has had on Beto. The striker was signed after some great performances in Serie A for Udinese a couple of years ago. But since arriving to the Toffees nothing really worked out for him. However since the arrival of Moyes, it has been a completely different story. Beto has been made the starting striker and it has paid dividends for the club. All of his 4 starts in the Premier League have come within the last 4 weeks and he has found the back of the net all four times. Given Manchester United’s defense, he just might do it again.
4. Omar Marmoush – Manchester City | 21 points | £7.1m

Manchester City had a pretty rough beginning to the season, which led them to make some massive investments in the January transfer window. Omar Marmoush arrived with a heavy price tag having contributed to an insane 33 goals in the first half of the season with Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, across Bundesliga, the DFB Pokal and the Europa League. He has settled in quite well, scoring a stunning hattrick against Newcastle United last weekend. While against Liverpool it won’t be that easy, the game against Newcastle wasn’t an easy affair either but Marmoush was still quite effective up front. The signs are good and the Egyptian will be looking to target the space left in behind by the Liverpool fullbacks to attack with his sharp running.
3. Chris Wood – Nottingham Forest | 163 points | £7.1m

Chris Wood has been on fire this season and the New Zealander currently holds the record for the highest number of goals for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Wood has propelled the club into the Champions League spots with his 18 goals and 2 assists. Recently, he also netted an incredible hat trick against Brighton in a 7-0 victory and has already surpassed his goal count from the previous season and will aim to keep scoring as Forest strives to qualify for Europe next season. This weekend, Forest faces Newcastle and Wood will be aiming to score once more. Given his current form, he appears likely to add to his goal tally.
2. Alexander Isak – Newcastle | 154 points | £9.5m

Alexander Isak is currently in outstanding form. Newcastle started the season unevenly; however, they have since found their rhythm as they recently secured 8 consecutive victories, with three of those wins against Manchester United, Spurs, and Arsenal. Isak has scored in 7 of these 8 matches. The Swedish forward has tallied 17 goals this season and has contributed 5 assists. However, in the last couple of weeks, we haven’t witnessed the top performance of the Swede, who many regard as the league’s finest striker. With Newcastle up against Nottingham Forest, anticipate fireworks from Isak.
1. Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa | 131 points | £8.9m

Much of the focus regarding Aston Villa forwards has been directed at Jhon Duran this season, who has recently moved to Saudi Arabia. This is partly due to Ollie Watkins, who excelled last season but started slow this season. However, he has been doing remarkably well recently. He has already scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists this season, which surpasses Duran’s total tally. He has played a role in 5 goals in his last 4 matches in all competitions, showcasing impressive form. This weekend, Villa face off against Chelsea with Watkins anticipated to produce the results.
As we turn our attention to Gameweek 26, the Premier League has a thrilling set of fixtures lined up. The highlight of the weekend is the game between Liverpool and Manchester City. Any other season, this would be a title decider but City are miles off this season. They could however massively help Arsenal and hurt Liverpool in the title race.
The deadline for GW26 is on 22nd February.
