“A spoiled brat”- Feud between Roy Keane and Erling Haaland heats up after former United captain’s recent comment

Roy Keane has been known for his hardman image and that sticks with him until today. Recently, the former Manchester United captain slammed the city rival’s striker Erling Haaland for his attitude.

Keane was not happy seeing how Haaland behaved when he was subbed off in the second half against Wolverhampton. Manchester City was leading 4-0 over Wolves when Pep Guardiola decided to substitute Haaland with Julian Alvarez.

Beef continues between Roy Keane and Erling Haaland

When going on air with Sky Sports, Keane had no hesitation to label the Norwegian with a ‘spoiled brat’, leaving the whole studio in silence for a while. The host David Jones tried his hardest to break the ice in an attempt to avoid an awkward moment which he failed to do.

“I think we saw Haaland yesterday brought off not too happy, behaving like a spoiled brat,” Keane said. “I think when you have the spat as well with the manager and obviously your star man, it doesn’t help that results aren’t going your way. But because they win the game, he scores goals it’s almost forgotten about.”

Jones then asked if it was right for Haaland to behave so even after scoring four goals in that game. Keane was still on his argument that what the former Borussia Dortmund forward did was unacceptable, adding: “No, no. No, it’s not.”

Previously, Keane criticised Haaland’s attitude when The Citizens played against Arsenal. In a game which ended without a goal, the Irishman said that Haaland was nothing like a ‘League Two player’ after spending the game without scoring. After the game, the son of Inge, whose Keane tackled horribly back in the day, hit back saying; “I really don’t care about that man.”

City restored the one-point gap to Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table. Pep Guardiola has been giving constant pressure to The Gunners for the remaining games where City have two games in hand.
