Saturday evening’s fixture of FC Union Berlin vs FC Bayern Munich started with Bayern meaning business from the kick off whistle. Been quiet in the first half as he was busy with defensive duties. Got himself the green signal in the second half to go forward. His lack of awareness opened up the chance for the visitors in the 2nd half which saw a 0-1 scoreline.

Looked to have an opening a couple of times as Bayern was caught wide open while they held a high line. However, recoveries from the Bayern defenders fizzled out the danger. He was subbed off in the 60th minute.

Came in the 60th minute to introduce a tactical change in the game. Turned out to be the 2nd magical sub in the game as he scored the equalizer in the 84th minute.

Delivered some of the quality balls in the box in the first half. However, those did not see any conversion. Got booked in the 79th minute for foul outside his own box.

Looked out of rhythm. Had a couple of attempts outside the box but nothing was in target. He was subbed off in the 64th minute. It was not his best game at all.

Perhaps the most promising player for the Bavarians in the first half. He was amazing with his dribbling. Picked up a yellow card for protesting to the referee.

He did not have much in the box in the first half. He missed his chance, which came in the 65th minute from a stunning cross from Olise. The Englishman had 0.19 xG today.

Sub-Sane-4/10

Came in to replace Gnabry at the 64th minute to replace Gnabry who had a poor game this evening. Turned out to be the super sub as he gave his team the lead in the 74th minute.

Came in the 82nd minute as Kompany decided to make a defensive change.

Certainly was the unhappy manager between the two. Not at all the performance he had hoped for.
