Bayern Munich’s Sacha Boey Sidelined Again with Hamstring Tear

In a setback for Bayern Munich, fullback Sacha Boey has been sidelined once more due to a hamstring tear, the club confirmed on Wednesday. This latest injury comes shortly after Boey had recovered from a similar setback, compounding Bayern’s defensive woes.

Sacha Boey Injury Update

The French right-back, who joined Bayern from Galatasaray in January in a deal potentially exceeding 35 million euros ($38 million), suffered muscle tissue damage in his left hamstring during a training session on Wednesday, according to the club.

Boey had previously endured a month-long absence due to a hamstring tear and had only recently returned to Bayern’s squad, albeit as an unused substitute in the two games following his comeback.

His playing time has been limited, with his last appearance for the German champions being in a 3-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen on February 10th.
