Fans react after spotting MS Dhoni jersey behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest video on X
One of the greatest ever to play the beautiful game of football, Cristiano Ronaldo recently went viral after sharing a video on his social media accounts. But, he must not have imagined the cause for which he would get such attention.
Ronaldo, a 39-year-old Portuguese forward is not just one of the biggest footballers in the world, but also one of the most famous footballing icons of all time. The former Real Madrid star hails the highest number of followers on Instagram, with 634 million in his account. If platform “X” is taken into consideration along with his Insta page, he has over 738 million accounts following him.
The global icon is at the end of his illustrious playing career, now spending quality days with Al Nassr FC in the Saudi Pro League. Recently, on August 15, the forward took to his “X’ account to share a teaser of his upcoming project. In that short clip, a Jersey with No. 7 at the back was attached to the wall behind Ronaldo.
It was this yellow jersey which suddenly made Cristiano viral, especially among Indians and specifically among cricket fans. Netizens took no time to see the jersey and tweeted inside the thread of this clip, claiming Ronaldo to be a fan of MS Dhoni!
MS Dhoni, a former Team India cricketer also wears the No. 7. The famous wicket-keeper batsman wears the yellow jersey while playing for IPL franchise CSK, with “7” at the back. Many fans confused Ronaldo’s Al Nassr jersey with Dhoni’s Yellow one from CSK. Some even gave witting replies on that clip, stating that MS Dhoni is the “Thala” because even the great Cristiano Ronaldo is his fan/supporter.
