Everton have reportedly reached a deal in principle to sign Jake O’Brien from Olympique Lyon, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X. The 23-year-old is set to undergo his medical examination tomorrow if personal terms are agreed, with a five-year contract on the table. The Irish international had only joined Les Gones last year and made 27 appearances in Ligue 1. A centre-back by trade, O’Brien managed to score four times nonetheless, and once in the domestic cup too. The youngster will look to continue his development at Goodison Park with the Toffees.
