Everton leading the race for Barcelona’s Vitor Roque
The young Brazilian forward arrived at Barcelona at the start of 2024 and struggled to force his way into the first-team, making just two of his 14 La Liga appearances under former manager Xavi.
The 19-year-old striker is currently deemed surplus to Hansi Flick’s requirements and Barcelona are ready to part ways only seven months after his arrival. According to reports, with multiple clubs interested in the player, it is Everton who are best-placed to sign the young forward before the deadline day.
With less than two weeks left of the summer transfer window, Roque’s future is entering a gray area in terms of a move away, as there is currently no breakthrough in terms of negotiations.
