Euro 2024 Winner: Luis Figo names his six favourites to win Euro 2024
The Euro 2024 is set to kick-start in June at the Allianz Arena with hosts Germany taking on Scotland in the inaugural game of the competition. The Euro 2024 play-offs will decide the final three of the 24 teams participating in the summer tournament. Three spots are up for grabs and a total of 12 times are fighting it out across three qualification stages.
Portugal and Real Madrid legend Luis Figo has revealed six nations that can win the much-anticipated UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany.
Figo told MARCA: “We [Portugal] have one of the best teams in the world, I honestly say it, with a lot of talent and experience.”
“We are one of the favourites to win the title, with France, England… Then there are also the usual ones, with Spain, Germany and Belgium.
“I think it will be a very good championship, honestly, and I hope that Portugal can emerge champion.”

Euro 2024 Winner: Which teams are favourites to win the competition in Germany?
England (4.25)
The Three Lions are undoubtedly the favourites of the competition even though they never have been crowned champions of Europe. The current English squad has some of the best players in the world in every position. Under Gareth Southgate, they reached the Euro 2020 final and are expected to go one better and win the tournament this summer, ending their 58-year wait for a major international trophy.
France (5.00)
The Les Blues have not been crowned European Champions since 2000 but now they arguably have a stronger squad compared to Qatar. Didier Deschamps’ men have won all six of their qualifiers, scoring 13 goals and conceding just once. France have a relatively young squad and there are simply no weak links in this new Euro 2024 France squad.
Germany (7.50)
The host nation will be under immense pressure to win the title on home soil but scoring goals has been a huge burden for Germany under the leadership of Julian Nagelsmann. Die Mannschaft has the most underwhelming squad, even though they were the favorites at Euro 2020. The squad is certainly not devoid of talent with some of the best players in the world in the form of Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gundogan, Jamal Musiala, and Leroy Sane.
Spain (8.00)
The three-time champions are the only nation to win the Euros back-to-back, 2008 and 2012 consecutively. La Roja have endless reserves of young talent coming through but they still lack a ruthless goalscorer since the days of David Villa and Fernando Torres.
