Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Erik ten Hag might lose his job if he fails to turn things around at Old Trafford in the next few months. Man United sustained a shameful 3-0 defeat by bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday evening.

Earlier this summer, the Dutch manager claimed that he was ready to leave Old Trafford if the Man Utd hierarchy believes they have found a suitable replacement for him. Despite having one of the busiest summer windows in the Premier League, Man United showcased a lackluster performance in their third game of the season.

Neville believes Ten Hag will be given time until Christmas to turn things around the club. He said: ‘But Erik ten Hag is going to have to get the club into a position sort of challenging the Champions League towards Christmas, or else he’s going to be in trouble.’ He said.
