Erik Ten Hag admits the support from Manchester United owner for the summer
Coming to the end of last season, Erik Ten Hag was heavily linked to leave Manchester United. One of the reasons was according to multiple reports, the club’s owner is putting his plan about the future of the club on someone else than the Dutchman.
But the gloom cloud covering over Ten Hag’s days has gone since United announced that there will be another season for him. Lately, the former Ajax tactician admitted that he has a full backup from the owner.
“With new ownership coming in, they can help us as they are very supportive,” Ten Hag said via Fabrizio Romano’s X post. “We made our process and that’s what we constructed across the summer.
“We are in a very good position, in a very strong position to go into attack.”
United have been strengthening their back office staff for the next season. After announcing Ten Hag’s stay at the club, Dan Ashworth was also announced to join forces. As well as the former Southampton’s director of football Jason Wilcox. (source: Fabrizio Romano)
