Enzo Maresca confirms Raheem Sterling won’t get any minutes at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has sent a warning to Raheem Sterling that he won’t be getting any minutes under him if he wishes to stay beyond the summer transfer window. The England international has been banished from first-team training alongside his teammates Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah.

His future at Stamford Bridge looks more uncertain after his squad number was handed to new summer signing Pedro Neto. Sterling has been advised to find a new club before the deadline day.

Maresca said: ‘My advice. He knows exactly what he has to do. He doesn’t need my advice. We’re going to see.

‘It’s not just Raheem. It’s all the players who in this moment are training apart. The moment the transfer window closes, they are not going to get minutes.’
