English Premier League Team of the Week: Game Week 12

Man City balanced their performance with a draw against Chelsea in the English Premier League (EPL) Game week 12. Even, Mo Salah’s Liverpool also gained their presence and reached second in the league table. Man City was at the moment to clinch victory over Chelsea but English midfielder Cole Palmer created a chance for a draw. However, Some games ended in sudden death penalties, and only a few players were displaced in the last moments of play. Ederson (Manchester City)

Manchester City’s Brazilian goalkeeper played an instrumental role in his club’s tie match against Chelsea on 12th November. In Sunday’s 4–4 draw with Chelsea, Ederson surrendered four goals while making five saves. In his Premier League Teams Record, he has 228 appearances, 106 clean sheets, 375 saves, and 3 penalty saves.

Porro picked up his second assist of the year in game week 12

Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United)

Kieran Trippier showcased his defensive solidity against Bournemouth. In Saturday’s 2-0 loss against AFC Bournemouth, Trippier registered five corners and six crosses (all of which were inaccurate). On Saturday, Trippier played as a right-back as usual, taking the set pieces for the Magpies.

On Saturday, Zinchenko scored his first goal of the year in the 74th minute, making it the game’s third and final goal. Additionally, this was his first season-long goal contribution. He hasn’t yet gotten any help. He has played well in his 11 Premier League games this season, recording 10 shots, 10 chances created, 18 crosses, and 22 tackles.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

On Saturday, Saka scored his second goal of the year, setting up a goal by Leandro Trossard to put Arsenal ahead. Saka had contributed to both goals in his team’s last two games in a row; on Wednesday, they defeated Sevilla in UCL play. The winger has made eight goal contributions in 11 Premier League starts this season, along with 22 shots, 25 tackles, 27 opportunities created, and 62 crosses. In Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Burnley, Saka had one assist, three shots (one on goal), six crosses (two accurate), and five corners.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

Even though Fernandes didn’t score as many goals as he had in the two games prior in all categories, he was a major contributor to Man Utd’s pressure in the goal-seeking area. He is still a stat-stuffer despite having another season with a below-average scoring rate. Fernandes created two chances and missed four attempts in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Luton Town. He made three challenges, winning two of them, and put in twelve crosses, four of which were accurate.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

In a 4–4 draw with Chelsea club, Haaland notched 2 goals, provided an assist on 4 shots, and created 3 chances.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

On sixty-four minutes, though, Villa took the lead when Ollie Watkins scored his sixth league goal of the year by sweeping in Leon Bailey’s cross.
