Egypt vs Cape Verde Player Ratings: The Pharaohs beats Cape Verde 3-0 in the AFCON Qualifiers
The hosts, Egypt secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Cape Verde in the Group C clash of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers at Cairo International Stadium on Friday. Ramy Rabia, Omar Marmoush, and Ibrahim Adel were the goal scorers in the game for the Pharaohs.
Whereas, Cape Verde failed to find the back of the net and could only manage to register a single shot on target against the mighty hosts in Cairo. Consequently, they have now fallen to the last spot in the points table. On the other side, Egypt goes on top with three points in hand following the win.

Mohamed Hany (7/10): He put a great shift on the right back position, creating troubles for Cape Verde’s attack and defence.
Ramy Rabia (7.5/10): The centre-back’s towering header found the end of the cross of Zizo’s cross giving Egypt the first goal and solid defensive performance.
Hamdy Fathy (6.8/10): He was good overall, and made a few blocks and clearances at the back line — just being dribbled past once in the entire game.
Mohamed Hamdy (7/10): Played with an attacking mindset created a couple of chances with his clever passes into the final third and also had contributions in defence.

Marwan Attia (6.5/10): A decent enough outing, however, needs to improve on duels and accuracy in passes in midfield.
Trézéguet (6/10): He had a solid game as a pivot but seemed poor in duels, and build-ups.
