Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt: Player ratings as Bynoe-Gittens double ensures narrow win

Borussia Dortmund beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in their opening game of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season. Having crushed Phonix Lubeck 4-1 in their last game of the DFB-Pokal, Der BVB entered the tie with confidence, but struggled to break down a stoic Frankfurt side in the opening stanza.

Substitute Jamie Bynoe-Gittens came off the bench and broke the deadlock for them in the 72nd minute before making it 2-0 in stoppage-time. Here are the player ratings for both sides:

Ellyes Skhiri – 6.5/10: Completed most of his passes but couldn’t offer a solid resistance to Dortmund’s movements
