Denmark will host Switzerland in the first of their two friendlies this month in preparation for the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany. Both sides did well in the qualifiers and will compete in the continental tournament in the summer.

Denmark topped their group comprising Slovenia, Finland, Kazakhstan, Northern Ireland and San Marino. They won seven, drew one and lost two of their 10 games in the Qualifiers. Denmark have four wins in their last five games but lost their last game against Northern Ireland.

Switzerland, meanwhile, have just one win in their last five games, with three draws and one defeat. They finished second in their group in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers behind Romania.

The Swiss had four wins, five draws and one defeat in their 10 qualifying games and finished above Israel, Belarus, Kosova, and Andorra.

While both sides have qualified for the UEFA 2024 Euros, Denmark had a better qualifying campaign than Switzerland. They are also in great form and their star players are firing for their respective clubs.

Switzerland, meanwhile, have struggled in recent times and have been dependent on the likes of Granit Xhaka to produce the goods.

It is likely to be a tight affair but Denmark, boosted by Rasmus Hojlund’s return, should secure the win.
