Dele Alli Club Career Stats

Dele joined the youth system at MK Dons aged 11. He made his first team debut at a very young age, at 16 years old in 2012 and hit the ground running. This got the eyes of big clubs and Tottenham took a punt on him for £5 million.
Dele’s rise at Tottenham was magnificent. In each of his first two campaigns at White Hart Lane, Dele was voted the PFA Young Player of the Year and made the PFA Team of the Year. His rise to fame made him a superstar and he was wanted by everyone in the world. He was also considered as the world’s most expensive midfielder from a transfer value perspective by CIES. Dele’s assist to Lucas Moura to send Tottenham Hotspur to the final of the UEFA Champions League, the first time in the history of Spurs, was a historic achievement.
Unfortunately, Dele’s performances took a dip as each season passed by and the turbulent nature of Tottenham’s dressing room each season did not help him.
After he lost his place as a squad player too, he finally in the January window of the 2021-22 season, he signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Everton, running until the end of the 2023–24 season. The manager of the club then Frank Lampard appreciated his talent and wanted to work with him to get him back on his feet. He failed to make an impact at Everton, without scoring or assisting during his entire tenure.
Dele joined Turkish team Beşiktaş on loan for the remainder of the 2022–23 season with an option to buy. He hit a new low in his career as the manager of the club Şenol Güneş, stated that Alli was “below expectations in terms of efficiency.” He did not play for the club later and moved back to Everton, where he continued to train at the club and did rehab work with medical staff.
In the recent January window, he joined Italian club Como on a free transfer on an 18-month deal until the end of the 2025–26 season. The manager Cesc Fabregas stated that he would not be rushed into the main team.
