Dani Olmo is a professional football player, who plays for FC Barcelona at the club level and Spain at the international level. Primarily an attacking midfielder, Olmo can also operate on the left wing or as a second striker.

RB Leipzig
Dani Olmo joined RB Leipzig in January 2020 for just over €34 million. He made his debut for the club in a 2-2 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in January. He scored his first goal for the club in a 3-1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt in DFB-Pokal.

International Career
Despite some early rumors that Dani Olmo might switch to a Croatian citizenship, he stuck with Spain. He made his U17 debut in the U17 European Championship Qualifiers in 2015 and participated in the tournament as well where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Germany.
He then played a key role for Spain U21 in their U21 Euros win in 2019. He scored in a 2-1 win over Germany U21 in the final and was named the Man of the Match.
Olmo made his senior debut for Spain in November 2019 in a 7-0 win over Malta in Euro 2020 Qualifiers. At Euro 2020, he provided an assist in the semi-final against Italy but missed his penalty in the shootout as they were eliminated.
The midfielder took part in the subsequent tournaments but made the biggest impact at Euro 2024. He registered three goals and two assists in six games as they won the trophy. He also won the UEFA Nations League in 2023.
