Goalkeeper

D. Henderson — 8/10. Man of the match. Made as many as 7 saves and prevented a total xG of 1.65 in the game.

Defenders

D. Munoz — 6/10. Average outing from the Colombian wingback. Was right in defence and going forward as well. Nothing to write home about.

M. Lacroix — 7/10. A dominant performance from the French centre half. Cleared danger whenever he could and also passed well.

M. Guehi — 7/10. Like his central defensive partner, he did a good job in keeping and progressing the ball. Did an excellent job in terms of defending.

C. Richards – 6/10. Didn’t do all that much in terms of ball progression but a good solid defensive outing from the American. Could well become a starter.

T. Mitchell — 6/10. A mixed outing from the left back. Defensively looked a bit suspect at times. In attack, could have maybe done more.

Midfielders

A. Wharton — 5/10. A rather silent game for the English midfielder. Failed to provide any sort of control and took off at half-time.

D. Kamada — 6/10. Won a number of fouls when trying to evade pressure. Was extremely erratic in his passing, however.

E. Eze – 6/10. An unusual performance from the creative midfielder. Created 2 chances but also missed 2 big ones. Lost the most duels in the game.

Forward

E. Nketiah — 7/10. One of Palace’s brighter players in the game. Looked to combine well with his teammates. A promising start to his Palace career.

J. Mateta — 4/10. Went completely missing today. Taken off after the first half. Hasn’t clicked for him this season.

Substitutions

J. Lerma – 5/10. Came in after the first half for Wharton but failed to provide the steel or control in midfield.

I. Sarr – 7/10. Looked dangerous after coming on. Should have converted one of the chances he had.

W. Hughes – 6/10. Didn’t do all that much after coming on. Played a little less than half an hour without much impact.

J. Schlupp – N.A.

Manager

O. Glasner – 6/10. The pressure will now start building on him if Palace stays without a win for much longer.

Goalkeeper

A. Onana – 9/10. Provided the biggest moment of the game with a ridiculous double save in the second half. For all United’s dominance, they needed him at his best.

Defenders

N. Mazraoui – 8/10. Completed the most dribbles in the game and also won the most duels. A great performance from the Moroccan.

M. De Ligt – 6/10. Took 3 shots from set pieces from close range but failed to score. Was alright defensively, nothing bad or extraordinary.

L. Martinez – 5/10. Should have probably seen red in the second half for a bizarre two-footed stamp attempt on Kamada. Other than that, he completed the most passes in the game.

D. Dalot – 8/10. Another class performance from Manchester United’s most consistent player. Created 3 chances and made 8 ball recoveries.

Midfielders

K. Mainoo – 7/10. Good performance in midfield. Kept things ticking with some nice interplay to get out of pressure.

C. Eriksen – 7/10. Has replaced Casemiro well. Always comfortable on the ball, the Danish playmaker created a number of chances.

B. Fernandes – 7/10. The creative midfielder tried everything but failed to disturb the scorers. Even hit the woodwork once from the four shots he took.

Forward

A. Diallo – 6/10. Was at it repeatedly but failed to provide the real quality when needed. Didn’t threaten the Palace goal enough times.

J. Zirkzee – 6/10. Created a few chances. The new signing didn’t however take enough shots as the striker.

A. Garnacho – 6/10. Took several shots but all from a narrow angle. Managed to hit the woodwork once. Had another shot well saved.

Substitutions

M. Rashford – 5/10. A surprise that he didn’t start. Couldn’t change United’s fortunes after coming on.

M. Ugarte – 5/10. Another short cameo for the new signing. Didn’t have a particularly big role to play.

R. Hojlund – N.A.

Manager

E. Ten Hag – 7/10. Cannot be particularly blamed for this result. His players should have done better in taking their chances.
