Crystal Palace 1-5 Arsenal: Player Ratings as Gabriel Jesus continues red-hot scoring form in a resounding win for the Gunners

Crystal Palace hosted Arsenal at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on December 21 and fell to a crushing 5-1 defeat against the Gunners.

Arsenal made a great start to the game as Gabriel Jesus scored an early brace to make it five goals in two games against Palace. Ismaila Sarr’s clinical strike brought the hosts back into the game momentarily, but Kai Havertz restored a two-goal lead in the 38th minute to make it 3-1.

The Gunners continued the barrage in the second half as Jesus missed a couple of chances to complete his hat-trick. However, Gabriel Martinelli picked up the scraps to score and make it 4-1 at the hour-mark. Declan Rice then rounded off the scoring with a stunning strike in the 84th minute to make it 5-1.

On that note, let’s take a look at the player ratings.
