When asked by Piers Morgan whether Lionel Messi is the greatest player he has ever seen, Ronaldo agreed, but added another name to the exclusive list—Zinedine Zidane. “Messi is an amazing player, he is magic. But Zidane too, probably the best I’ve played and fought with,” Ronaldo shared.
Ronaldo and Zidane share a special history. Under Zidane’s management at Real Madrid, Ronaldo achieved some of his greatest successes, including three consecutive Champions League titles.
