Former Premier League and USA player’s wife revealed scary experience going into the Copa America 2024 final with little daughter

Stuart Holden, who is a former Premier League and USA player was reportedly working as a TV Analyst for the broadcasting network FOX on the Argentina vs Colombia’s Copa America 2024 final. However, his wife and 8-year-old daughter attended the final held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami as football fans.

In order of their visit to the stadium, Holden’s wife and daughter reportedly witnessed some inexplicable scenes as mobs of fans breached security gates to access an entry into the stadium. As per a report by ‘Daily Mail’, certain screams could be spontaneously heard from footage that was caught around the Hard Rock Stadium as fans flooded in creating massive congestion and chaos.

Stuart Holden’s wife reportedly quoted on one of her official social handles about her experience leading up to the final. She inserted – “I brought our 8-year-old to the Copa America final last night & we got caught in the scary masses outside the stadium”. She further stated – “When we got to SE Entry gate, there were 1000s of people waiting to bet in, gates closed, as we stood in the 90deg heat, bodies pressed against each other, I started to get an awful feeling”.

She further described her experience in an immaculate manner and from her words reflected an experience lashed with fear. At last, she mentioned – “I’m thankful for the security guards who helped get us out of there”.

As for the match’s result, Argentina defeated Colombia by a scoreline of 1-0 to clinch consecutive Copa America titles.
