Chicago Sky Coach – Head Coach

As of January 2025, the Head coach of Chicago Sky is Tyler Marsh, appointed on 3 November 2024. Marsh succeeds Teresa Weatherspoon, who was dismissed after the 2024 season. She had a 13–27 record, due to which the team missed the playoffs for the first time since 2018. Marsh has been the Assistant and development coach of various teams before joining Chicago Sky.

These include the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Pacers. He has vast experience in coaching and is determined to lead the team to a second WNBA championship in 2025.

Chicago Sky Assistant Coach

Tanisha Wright, who played 10 seasons as a guard for the Seattle Storm, would join Tyler Marsh’s coaching staff as an assistant coach. Wright started her coaching journey simultaneously with her WNBA career. Before this, she had been the head coach of Atlanta Dream. She has 14 years of experience in the WNBA and would be a strong addition to Chicago’s coaching staff.

Along with her Courtney Paris was also added to the coaching staff in December 2024. She is a former WNBA player and is highly known for her exceptional rebounding skills.

Apart from these two additions, Tamera Young and Crystal Robinson would continue their role as assistant coaches from previous seasons. They both have experience of 12 and 7 years in WNBA, respectively.

The coaching staff is further supported by Vice President of Basketball Operations, Strength and Conditioning Ann Crosby, Athletic Trainers Matt Repa and Chantal Hart, Director of Player Development Ashley Frazier, and Video Coordinator Can (Jon) Ozbalkan. Tyler Marsh, along with his four assistant coaches and leadership team, is focused on guiding Chicago Sky toward future success in the WNBA.

The Chicago Sky’s ownership group is led by Principal Owner Michael Alter, who has been with the team since the start. In 2023, new Co-Owner and Operating Chairman Nadia Rawlinson was included.
