Chelsea’s young midfielder close to sealing permanent move to Empoli
Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin is close to completing a permanent move to Seria A side Empoli as his gametime has been seriously restricted with persistent injury problems. Anjorin has been with Chelsea since the age of seven and made his debut for the first team in September 2019 against Grimsby Town in an EFL clash.
He spent the last few seasons on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, Huddersfield Town and Portsmouth and is now set to embark on a new chapter in his career with Serie A outfit Empoli. A specific transfer fee has not been disclosed yet but Chelsea are expected to retain a 50% sell-on clause for the young midfielder.
