Chelsea’s Angelo Gabriel in talks with Besiktas

Turkish giants Besiktas have opened talks with Chelsea star Angel Gabriel for a possible loan move. The Brazilian had joined the Blues on a £13 million transfer from Santos in 2023 but didn’t make a single appearance for the Premier League giants.

He spent the entirety of last season at Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, where he made 24 appearances, including 21 in the league.

A winger by trade, the 19-year-old is seeking regular gametime, which seems challenging to obtain at Chelsea, who are packed to the rafters in the attacking department. Another spell away from Stamford Bridge could help Gabriel find that.
