Chelsea want to offload Ben Chilwell amid Man Utd interest

Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell has failed to make his mark at Stamford Bridge since his arrival from Leicester City. The 27-year-old defender has struggled with persistent injury problems over the past few seasons and is hoping to get his career back on track.

He appears to be out of favour at Chelsea as new manager Enzo Maresca prefers Marc Cucurella over the Englishman. Chilwell’s absence from first-team football last season gave Cucurella to revive his Chelsea career and has impressed the new manager at the club.
