Chelsea vs Leeds United Player Ratings as Conor Gallagher’s late goal helps Blues win | FA Cup
Chelsea edged out a 3-2 in their fifth-round clash in the FA Cup against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, February 28.
The Blues came into the game on the back of a disappointing Carabao Cup final defeat against Liverpool on Sunday. They suffered a further blow as Mateo Joseph gave Leeds the lead in the eighth minute.
However, Nicolas Jackson restored parity in the 15th minute before Mykhaylo Mudryk scored in the 37th minute. The west London side couldn’t hold on to the lead though as Joseph scored again in the 59th minute.
With the game set to be heading towards extra time, Conor Gallagher scored in the 90th minute to secure the win for his side.
Chelsea will now face Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
