Chelsea vs Bournemouth: as it happened
Chelsea sign off their season with a 2-1 win against Bournemouth. Moises Caicedo opened the scoring with a stunner from his own half (17′) before Raheem Sterling made it 2-0 (48′). Benoit Badiashile scored an own goal, that turned out to be a consolation for Bournemouth.
Player Ratings:
Chelsea:
Dorde Petrovic– 7: Made a few important saves in the first half, including a couple from inside the box.
Trevoh Chalobah– 6.5: Didn’t have too much of an initial impact on the game. Chalobah didn’t see thick of the action.
Thiago Silva– 6.5: Not the Brazilian’s best performance. Silva looked a bit vulnerable in duel situations.
Benoit Badiashile– 6.5: He made a few tackles and clearances. However, like Silva, Badiashile was not rock solid in duels. Badiashile also scored an own goal.
Marc Cucurella– 7.5: A solid presence in the left. Cucurella was brilliant with his passing and was also hard to beat in duels.
Conor Gallagher– 7: Didn’t have the best first half. Gallagher, however, turned it around in the second half.
Moises Caicedo– 8: Scored a spectacular goal from the halfway line in the first half of the game to give Chelsea the lead.
Noni Madueke– 7: Madueke did well in the limited action he saw. However, he wasn’t involved too much in the game.
Cole Palmer– 7.5: Yet another goal contribution for Chelsea’s talisman. He assisted Raheem Sterling’s goal.
Raheem Sterling– 7.5: Scored his team’s second and had a good outing before being replaced in the second half.
Nicolas Jackson– 7: Wasn’t too involved in the game. Jackson, however, troubled the Bournemouth defense on a few occasions.

Neto– 6.5: Not the Bournemouth captain’s best goal. Neto was beaten from the halfway line for Caicedo’s opener.
Max Aarons– 6: Didn’t have a good outing. Aarons was dribbled past on a few occasions.
Illia Zabarnyi– 7: Started the game shaky. However, he got better as the game progressed.
Marcos Sensei– 8: Same as Zabarnyi, Sensei started a bit slow. However, he found his feet with time.
Milos Kerkez– 6: Was a bit wasteful in possession. Not a very good showing from Kerkez.
Lewis Cook– 7: Got better as the game progressed. Cook also created a big chance for his team.
Ryan Christie– 6.5: Tried to make things happen for his team in the attack. Christie, however, was wasteful in possession.
Antoine Semenyo– 7.5: One of Bournemouth’s best players against Chelsea. Did well offensively and also helped his team out defensively.
Justin Kluivert– 6.5: The Dutchman barely made an impact before being hooked off. Kluivert barely saw any action.
Marcus Tavernier– 7.5: Tavernier was very good on a day where Bournemouth were not the best collectively.
Enes Unal– 7: Made positive impacts in the limited chances he had. Unal, though, missed a big chance and was forced off injured.
