Chelsea to play waiting game on Victor Osimhen deal: Report

As per a recent report by ‘Football London‘ and further backed by ‘The Telegraph’, Premier League club Chelsea is okay to play ‘the waiting game’ in the ongoing summer transfer window in order to land Serie A side Napoli’s star striker Victor Osimhen.

The report had it that Chelsea would only approve of a loan deal to bring the Nigerian to Stamford Bridge this summer. Despite seemingly being in need of an out-and-out striker, and being heavily linked with Osimhen over the past month or so, the Blues are not willing to risk a permanent deal.

Also, some educated reports state that all of this might be something that the club is doing while looking to balance out its books amidst PSR and FFP regimes.
