Chelsea set to seal 5th signing of the summer

Renato Veiga has reportedly completed his medical and signed his contract at Chelsea. The 20-year-old is set to be officials unveiled by the club this week.

As per a report by Fabrizio Romano, Veiga’s move to Chelsea is all but done. The midfielder is joining from Basel for a reported €14 million fee.

He will be the latest addition to the Chelsea squad following Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu and Omari Kellyman. The Portugal U21 star is a versatile signing as he has played as a left-back too for the Switzerland side.

Enzo Maresca started his pre-season training at Chelsea this week.
