Chelsea out of race for Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin

The Blues are zeroing in on Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen after both clubs agreed on a transfer fee for the Danish goalkeeper. They were also interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin but ruled out a move for the Ukrainian international.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper faces an uncertain future at Santiago Bernabeu as he demands more first-team opportunities and has entered the final 12 months of his contract. If any interested party makes the right offer, Real Madrid are unlikely to step in the way of Lunin’s transfer.

Real Madrid are also interested in signing Chelsea outcast Kepa Arrizabalaga on a permanent transfer after impressing during his loan spell in the 2023/24 season.
