Chelsea interested in signing teenage Belgian goalkeeper

The Blues have completed the signing of Filip Jörgensen from Villarreal who is set to compete with Robert Sánchez for the No.1 spot in the upcoming Premier League campaign.

However, Chelsea have also taken an interest in 18-year-old Mike Penders who is plying his trade with Belgian side Genk and made his senior debut on Sunday. Penders is an absolute giant already, standing at 6 feet 7 inches.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are aiming to loan him back to Genk after buying the goalkeeper. This will help him gain more experience in the Belgian top flight.
