Chelsea interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin
Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is of heavy interest to Premier League giants Chelsea. The Russian stepped up immensely in the absence of Thibaut Courtois last season for Real Madrid.
Despite featuring in the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final, Lunin was not selected to play in the final against Dortmund following Courtois’ return to full fitness which made him question his future at Santiago Bernabeu.
The 25-year-old is currently assessing options and a move to Chelsea could be on the cards this summer. On the contrary, Real Madrid sees Kepa Arrizabalaga as a viable replacement if Lunin decides to move to London in this summer window. But the Blues are yet to make a concrete offer for the Ukrainian international.
