Chelsea are pushing to sign winger Gabriel Mec

The Blues have reportedly opened talks with Brazilian teenager Gabriel Mec who is another top young talent out of South America. The 16-year-old plays beyond his age group and plays for the Gremio’s under-20 side.

Chelsea have been snapping a lot of young talents from South America recently after having already sealed transfers for South American prodigies like Andrey Santos, Angelo Gabriel, and Kendry Paez.

The Gremio wonderkid is expected to complete his move to Chelsea in the coming days but he won’t arrive at Stamford Bridge before 2026 as the FIFA rule prohibits any player from moving abroad before turning 18.
