Celta Vigo fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday, February 17. The result sees Barca close their gap to Girona to two points. Celta, on the other hand, are in 17th place, just three points off the drop zone.
The first half saw the visitors trying to keep the ball for lengthy spells of time. They had the ball for 70% of the first period, which pushed Celta deep back into their own territory and neutralized the threat they posed.
