Inter Miami defeated CD Olimpia 0-5 on Sunday at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano in a pre-season friendly with goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. The Argentine scored the opening goal for his club and provided two assists while, Luis Suarez also found the net in the dominating victory. Messi, who is now the MLS MVP and will play for Inter Miami in the Concacaf Champions Cup later this month, put on a classic display.
In the first goal, Luis Suarez opted for an unselfish approach, delivering a perfect pass for the World Cup winner, who slotted it behind the goalkeeper. Apart from these two, the other three goals were scored by Federio Redondo, Noah Allen, and substitute Ryan Sailor. Messi assisted Noah Allen and Federico Redondo in giving Inter Miami a 3-0 lead going into the second half.
