BREAKING: Raheem Sterling in talks over a possible Man Utd move

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has reportedly held talks with Manchester United over a possible move in the final few days of the summer transfer window. The England international has been frozen out of the first-team squad by manager Enzo Maresca as he’s deemed surplus to his requirements in the ongoing campaign.

Raheem Sterling pockets £300,000 per week and Chelsea are keen to offload the winger before the deadline day. Chelsea are also plotting a move for Man Utd outcast Jadon Sancho and could make a swap deal with Sterling going the other way.

But Man Utd will be reluctant to pay the Chelsea winger’s mammoth wages and sporting director Dan Ashworth is checking if they can use Chelsea’s dire situation to their advantage.
