BREAKING: Martin Zubimendi offered new contract by Real Sociedad

Martin Zubimendi have reportedly been offered a huge contract by Real Sociedad in order to prolong his stay at the Spanish club amid heavy interest from Liverpool this summer. Zubimendi has a release clause worth £51.7million and Liverpool are open to making a move for the Spaniard.

Liverpool are in the market for a few defensive midfielder reinforcements, where only Wataru Endo remains as a senior option. Amid interest from Liverpool, Sociedad have offered a significant contract proposal to wave off recent interest from the Premier League giants.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have ramped up in their efforts to sign the Spanish international and are already in talks with the player’s representatives.
