BREAKING: Charlie Patino set to complete his move to Deportivo

The Gunners have agreed to sell talented 20-year-old midfielder Charlie Patino to Deportivo La Corona in a transfer worth around £1million with a sell-on clause included in the deal.

Patino joined the Arsenal academy in 2015 and has spent the last two seasons on loan at Blackpool and Swansea City. The youngster made only two senior appearances for Arsenal and entered the final year of his contract with the North London giants.

Arsenal were ready to accept a permanent offer for the player who was highly rated throughout his spell at the club’s famous Hale End academy. He was also absent from the North London giants’ recent pre-season tour in the United States.
