BREAKING: Barcelona miss out on Stefan Bajcetic transfer

The Catalan giants have missed out on Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic, who has reportedly agreed to join Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg on a season-long loan this summer.

Barcelona were on the lookout for a replacement for Marc Bernal who sustained a season-ending knee injury. They identified young Liverpool midfielder Bajcetic as a potential candidate to join the Barca roster on a season-long loan move.

But, RB Salzburg which is presently managed by former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders have secured a move for the talented Spaniard. Bajcetic is expected to travel to Austria on Thursday to complete his move.
