The Gunners are reportedly getting closer to a move for Chelsea outcast Raheem Sterling who has been banished from availing first-team facilities by manager Enzo Maresca this season.

The 29-year-old has three years left on his contract with the Blues and Arsenal are considering a loan move for the England international. Sterling would not be enjoying first-team action with the West London giants, so a move in the final hours of the deadline day can be expected.

Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of the Chelsea attacker as the pair worked together at Man City.
