The Cherries began life poorly under manager Andoni Iraola but have turned things around brilliantly. Bournemouth are 12th in the league standings with seven wins, four draws, and eight defeats. They have lost just one of their last nine games across competitions.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been in excellent form this season as they look to win their 20th English top-flight title. They sit atop the league standings and are unbeaten in their last seven games across competitions.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool Team News
Bournemouth are without Dango Ouattara and Antoine Semenyo due to AFCON. Meanwhile, Marcos Senesi will miss out due to suspension after collecting five yellow cards.
The Cherries are also missing a number of players due to injury. Tyler Adams and Darren Randolph remain out for the Liverpool clash. Lloyd Kelly, Hamed Traore, Milos Kerkez, and Ryan Fredericks could potentially return to action.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are missing Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo due to the AFCON and Asian Cup respectively. Moreover, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas, Ben Doak and Joel Matip will miss the Bournemouth clash.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool Head-to-Head
Liverpool hold a huge advantage in the head-to-head between the two sides, having won 14 of their 17 total meetings. Bournemouth have won two while one game has ended in a draw.
The Reds have won four of their last five clashes, including twice this season itself in the EFL Cup and the Premier League.
Last five results:
Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool – EFL Cup Round 4 – November 2, 2023
Liverpool 3-1 Bournemouth – Premier League – August 19, 2023

Liverpool 2-1 Bournemouth – Premier League – March 7, 2020
Prediction
Liverpool have been in excellent form this season, losing just one of their 20 Premier League games this season. That defeat came against Tottenham Hotspur away in a controversial game. They come into the Bournemouth clash on the back of four straight wins across competitions.
The Cherries, meanwhile, lost 3-1 at Tottenham Hotspur in their last Premier League game. They then got a narrow 3-2 win over Championship side Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup third round.
Liverpool are missing some key players but they should have enough firepower to get past Bournemouth.
Predicted Score: Bournemouth 2-3 Liverpool

Bournemouth vs Liverpool Players to Watch Out For
Bournemouth
Dominic Solanke is certainly the player to watch out for from the Bournemouth squad. The striker won the Premier League December Player of the Month award for scoring six goals in six games. Overall, he’s scored 12 goals in 19 league games this season.
Virgil van Dijk was poor in Liverpool’s last game in the EFL Cup semi-final first-leg win against Fulham. Hence, Solanke will look to test the Dutchman’s confidence when they face off.
Liverpool
For Liverpool, the key player could be Luis Diaz. The winger started the season well with two goals in two games but his performances dropped off. Moreover, his off-field problems led to him missing a couple of games.
However, Diaz has been excellent in recent games, looking electric on the left wing. He also scored in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup third round.
