Bournemouth will host Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League in their Boxing Day clash on Thursday. Both sides have had a contrasting 2024-25 season so far but will look to end the year on a high note.

Antoine Semenyo

The Ghana international joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023 and has become a key player for them. He has scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 64 games across competitions.

However, his form has dipped in recent games with just two goals in 10 previous games and just one goal in six games. While his dribbling and link-up play are still threatening, Semenyo will look to add to his G/A against Crystal Palace.

Ismaila Sarr

Since joining Crystal Palace from Marseille in the summer, Ismaila Sarr has struggled like the rest of the team. He failed to provide any goal contribution in his first 14 games across competitions.

However, he has found form in recent weeks and has been one of Palace’s bright sparks. He has scored three goals and provided one assist in his last three appearances. Overall, Sarr has recorded four goals and two assists in 17 Premier League games this season. He will look to add to his tally on Boxing Day against Bournemouth.

While they have previously shown some inconsistency at times, Bournemouth have been excellent in recent weeks. They are unbeaten in their last five games with four wins and one draw. They drew 1-1 against West Ham United at home but followed it up with a brilliant 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, were hammered 5-1 at home by Arsenal. The Eagles had put together a run of five games without defeat but have now lost two in a row. They lost 3-2 against Arsenal in the EFL Cup quarter-finals before losing to the Gunners in the league.
