Bologna threaten to cancel Arsenal’s Calafiori deal
Italian club Bologna are reportedly threatening to cancel the deal with Arsenal for Riccardo Calafiori if the player’s former club Basel does not accept to take less than the 50% of any future transfer fee they are owed.
Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness) report that the Bologna is arguing over the percentage they will send to the Swiss club.
Meanwhile, Gazzetta dello Sport claim that their attempts could see a small discount on the deal in order to smoothen the negotiation process.
Another Italian outlet Il Resto del Carlino have said that Bologna have turned down Arsenal’s part-exchange bid for Italy international Riccardo Calafiori. The Gunners were deciding to add Jakub Kiwior in the deal, but have been informed that a €50 million price will be required.
