Best Midfielder Picks for Fantasy Premier League GW 8
With the international break now almost over, Fantasy Premier League takes the front seat again. Gameweek 8 of the Premier League brings with it some exciting fixtures and it shall be interesting to see what midfielders to have in Fantasy Premier League this GW.
5. Facundo Buonanotte
No new signing in the Premier League has made a better start to the season numbers-wise than Leicester City’s Facundo Buonanotte. On loan from Brighton, the Argentine attacking midfielder has picked up 2 goals and 2 assists. This week, the struggling Foxes face fellow promoted side Southampton against whom, Buonanotte can reveal.
4. Bryan Mbuemo
Brentford have been starting games like a side possessed. In fact they have multiple times within the first 5 minutes. Bryan Mbuemo has been at the heart of everything done by then, with 6 goals in 7 games. This week, the Bees take on Manchester United who are not only struggling defensively but also are injury hit. Mbuemo could put them to the sword.

3. Bukayo Saka
The only reason Bukayo Saka is this low on this list is that he picked up a knock on England duty so Mikel Arteta might decide against starting him. Otherwise, it looks like a very favourable fixture for the right winger. Bournemouth are a decent side but Arsenal are of course expected to get the better of them. If Saka does play, he’s expected to add on to his league-high 7 assists at the very least.
2. Cole Palmer
At this point, there’s not much left to say about Cole Palmer. Widely regarded as the best player in the Premier League at the moment, the young Englishman is well on his way to becoming Fantasy Premier League royalty. He has 11 goal contributions already this season and has shown that he thrives on the big occasions. Liverpool are Chelsea’s opponents this weekend so let’s see what Palmer can do.
1. Mo Salah
It is rare that two players from the same fixture take the top two spots on this list but such is the quality of these two players. Mo Salah is still at his ruthless, effective best. He has 4 goals and 4 assists this season and given that Chelsea aren’t the best defensively, the Egyptian king could be in for a sizeable haul. He used to be employed by the Blues but never received a fair opportunity so that is always added motivation.
