9. Half-Life: Alyx

If VR headsets were available at birth, Half-Life: Alyx may be our favorite FPS of all time. Unfortunately, the entrance hurdle to seeing this virtual reality wonder at its best is higher than a Strider’s off switch.

Even if you simply’settle’ for enjoying this brilliantly timed, very atmospheric shooter on a Meta Quest rather than Valve’s excruciatingly pricey Index, you’re still looking at spending a significant amount of money for a ten-hour game.
