Best Forward Picks in FPL GW 34

As the 2023/24 season approaches the edge, it is crucial for the Fantasy Premier League users to gain the best possible points from Gameweek 34. Walking you through some alternatives for the best forward picks in the FPL to maximize the potential points.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Mo Salah

With Liverpool having two away games at Craven Cottage against Fulham and the Goodison Park for Everton, Mo Salah is the one to rely on. The Egyptian striker has collected 21 points in total in the reversed fixtures against both teams, collecting two goals and one assist, plus three bonus points.

Salah is also the most-point gainer among the Liverpool players in all away games in the competition this season. He gained 6.4 points on average and 81 in total, 20 points more than his teammates.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Bukayo Saka

Apart from Salah, Saka is also among the best forward picks in FPL if you want to gain maximum points in this gameweek. Saka is seven points clear of Salah in FPL’s midfield ranking with 193 points.

Arsenal will face Wolverhampton and Chelsea in the two upcoming games. Saka gained 13 points in total from a goal and an assist against those teams in the previous meetings. Mikel Arteta will likely pull Kai Havertz backward a little to make way for Saka in front, making the latter’s chance to score rises.

Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth)

Dominic Solanke

The Chelsea academy graduate scored one goal in the latest league match against Manchester United. Solanke is now tied with Mo Salah, scoring 17 goals in the league so far. With Bournemouth to face Aston Villa and Wolverhampton, Solanke will likely score against those teams again.

In the reversed fixtures, he gained a total of 13 points scoring against both Villa and Wolves. Solanke has 84 shots inside the box for Bournemouth with 18.1 percent conversion rate. With such stats, he is one good pick for the FPL’s Gameweek 34.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Erling Haaland

The Norwegian capitalized 20 points in the previous game week following one penalty goal against Luton Town. The fact that he is the league’s current top scorer is also something to look out for.

Owing to his goal-scoring reputation, Haaland is selected by 71 percent of FPL users, the most used in the platform. He also has the most average points per match with 6.7, more than any player in the league. He is among the best forward picks in FPL.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

Ollie Watkins

Only Haaland has gained more average points per match than Ollie Watkins (6.5). The Devon-born forward is one of the underrated this season as only 37.3 percent of users put him in their team, which is something unreasonable. Watkins is the fourth best-performing player in the ranking with 5.2 points.

With Cole Palmer now at the top of the list of goal scorers alongside Haaland, Watkins is the third on the top scorer ranking. He will be back in action playing against Bournemouth and Chelsea in two consecutive home games after the Europa Conference League outing against Lille.
