Bayern 3-2 Wolfsburg: Player Ratings as Olise and Goretzka run the show in a midfield-dominant win for the hosts
Bayern hosted Wolfsburg at their Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga on Saturday, January 18 and secured a thrilling 3-2 win against their rivals.
The hosts made a strong start to the contest and grabbed the lead via Leao Goretzka in the 20th minute, assisted by Joshua Kimmich. However, Mohamed El Amine Amoura levelled the contest just four minutes later to make it 1-1. Michael Olise then restored Bayern’s lead, assisted by Leroy Sane.
Wolfsburg continued to sit back and absorb pressure in the second half as well, but found themselves three down after 62 minutes. Goretzka bagged his second goal, assisted by Olise. Amoura then bagged a late consolation goal for his team as Bayern won 3-2.
