Bayern Munich defeated Benfica 1-0 at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League group stage match on Wednesday to bounce back from two consecutive defeats in the competition. German midfielder, Jamal Musiala netted a header from close range in the 67th minute to give the host something to hold on to.
Bayern for the most of the game dominated the match and missed on several chances in front of the goal. This result uplifted the Bavarians to the 17th place with six points from four matches.
In the second half, Bayern remained patient and finally broke the deadlock but could have been a 1-1 draw but the score line remained the same as Bayern held on for a one-goal victory.
