Barcelona continued their exceptional start to the La Liga campaign defeating Sevilla 5-1 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys courtesy to braces of Robert Lewandowski and Pablo Torre. Lewandowski took his tally to 14 goals in 12 games in all competitions and 10 in his past six. The Blaugrana, who were victorious in nine of their opening ten league game led 3-0 at the end of the first half after Lewandowski on either side of Pedri’s spectacular first time effort.
Pedri smashed in from the edge of the box just four minutes after Robert Lewandowski netted the opener from the penalty spot. Substitute Pablo Torre scored twice late on either side of Stanis Idumbo’s consolation goal to hand Barcelona an emphatic response to Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday.
