Barcelona 3-0 Osasuna Player Ratings: Hansi Flick’s Men Stroll Their Way To Take Advantage In La Liga Title Race
Barcelona stormed their way to a 3-0 win over Osasuna in their return to La Liga action at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on March 27, 2025. Two first-half goals from Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo, as well as a fine finish from substitute Robert Lewandowski, helped the Blaugrana take an important lead in the La Liga title race.
The Blaugrana were without key forwards Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha for this game, but that didn’t hamper their approach. They started to attack from the get-go, with the razor-sharp Alejandro Balde creating some early chances. The Spaniard expertly linked up with Frenkie de Jong in the 11th minute before teeing up Ferran Torres to convert from close range to make it 1-0.
Ferran nearly doubled the lead three minutes later, but his effort from Lamine Yamal’s cross was saved well by Sergio Herrera. In the 19th minute, Barcelona received a penalty after Dani Olmo was barged down inside the box by Herrera. The Spanish midfielder’s first effort from the penalty attempt was denied, but it was retaken, which Olmo converted to make it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Torres had another close-range attempt blocked in the 29th minute.
Yamal made a beautiful run past multiple bodies two minutes later, only for his shot to power over the bar. Ferran rattled the post with a superb free kick in the 39th minute. Lamine had another shot go over the bar in the 45th minute, with the hosts maintaining utmost control heading into the break. Barcelona continued their domination in the second half, with Pedri shooting just over the bar in the 46th minute.
The visitors finally had a chance in the 48th minute, but substitute Ruben Garcia’s cross was headed wide by Jorge Herrando. In the same minute, Barca substitute Pablo Torre also powered a shot wide. Osasuna had another chance in the 62nd minute, but Moi Gomez’s shot was just about blocked away by Eric Garcia.
However, Barca regained control and sealed the result in the 77th minute with Robert Lewandowski finishing off a sweeping counter-attack with a powerful header. They had a big chance to score a fourth in the 86th minute, but Pau Victor’s close-range shot was denied. Torre almost scored from a corner late on, with the Blaugrana strolling their way to go three points clear at the top of the La Liga table with this win. Here are the Barcelona vs Osasuna Player Ratings.

Enabled his side to control the game and frustrate the visitors with their offside trap ruining a lot of their moves. His substitutions worked perfectly too, contributing to the third goal.

GK – Sergio Herrera – 5/10
Herrera had a tough time dealing with Barcelona’s constant attacks. Failed to get in the right area to deny Ferran’s opener and then conceded the penalty by a cheap foul on Olmo.
